Here is something that I think some of you would appreciate: an online service for creating your own fonts. It is called YourFonts and the service is free. And the process is easy:
1. You go to their website
2. You download the font template (PDF) they provide
3. You print the template
4. You fill it up (pay attention to the instructions for composing the fonts)
5. You scan your finished products
6. You go back to their website and upload your JPG, GIF , TIF or TIFF file
7. They give you a preview of your work
8. You download your font
9. You install it
