It's some sort of car engine....what I find amazing is that all that weight's hanging on one pivotal point on the steering column, normally only supporting a motorbike
Those are crazy looking. There are some trike's coming onto the market soon so it may be something we see more of soon (not quite like these though). Check out http://www.flytheroad.com to see one that is capable of banking up to 45 degrees.
i see what you are saying..most of the weight is on the goose neck, but it looks like he may have reinforced it a little bit. still some radical looking trikes
I agree those are some really big tric's and they look scary, I've driven one (once) that was much smaller, and the handeling sucks, because they don't lean the front end has a tendancy to plow straight. I guess they are OK for little leisurly rides, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to have to try any sudden evasive manuevers on the highway on one. The thought of that after the one ride I took scared the crap out of me. Plus the lack of braking due to only one front wheel was a bit scary as well. They look cool, but all in all I wouldn't want to drive on on a regular basis, especially on the highways.
With that long wheel base and the V8 those things look downright horrifying, the skeletons are a good comentary if you ask me
