If anyone here uses VectorWorks, I was wondering if you could answer something for me.
I am doing a design for theatre lighting and am trying to figure out why I have to "convert true-type to polygons" in order to see an in-active layer's text. I managed to make it work without the conversion once before, but I can't, for the life of me, remember what I did.
Does anyone else use VectorWorks (or minicad) who can tell me how to make it so I don't need to do the conversion?

I should also point out that I have the layer options set to "View Others". So that shouldn't be the issue.
