All your photos are AWESOME, nice photography!
Wonderful!
I really love #2, but the first photo is also very good!
Greets
Steph
I love love love the flower ones. They're gorgeous. The first one's really cool, as well.
I also like the second one, it has a nice mood to it.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments

the milky one is amazing
and the daisy one is just magical, really pretty, the way the sun shines on the wet flowers. The last one isn't the best, the effect you added to it makes it look washed out, and the motive isn't the best one either, but I like the colours.
impressive shots! I like the first one the most..very nice timing to capture the moment!
Thanks everyone for your great comments

Absolutely brilliant, what camera do you use? also your editing program.
The second has to be the best followed by the first then the third
I think the third would be better as an animated GIF if you got a few shots of the flowers waving gently in the wind.
Thanks everyone!!!
I have more shots on my flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaeljscott/
Have a look at my Frihosted website too, although its still being updated : http://www.scottphotographics.com
Thanks

Nice but i would recommend a slimbox for your photo's just like i have on My Site
Yeah I might find a flash Browser for that, but anyway I've enlarged my images and taken all the space up

All constructive criticism welcome
Really really good work, my favorite has to be of Sydney Harbour
Those are great, what camera do you use?
Thanks everyone
I'll try to update it soon!!!

those are very cool..i love the tractor i work on a farm so im around them all day...its what i shoot most the time is machinery....nice work man.
Thanks again for your nice comments
love the fast shutter grab/flash freeze shot for your milk shot and the other flower shots, love the textures you added to the third, really good stuff. Out of your newer stuff my favourite would be the sunrise one, keep up the great work =)
The second one is easily my favourite. The warm colours and soft focus make it just look incredible. Brilliant work!
Great Photos Michael, what is your camera ? That photo of the bee was taken with a macro lens ?
plz delete this , got duplicated ..
Thanks for all your great comments!!!
I use a Sony A350=P
The Bee shot that your talking about I think was taken with my 18mm-75mm lens and I then cropped it down(14.2megapixels=P)
Wow !
The first one in this topic should have taken a lot of time before you were able to get the drop out exactly like this.
HAHA, yeah it did about 20 shots, however better than some of my water droplet shots=P

I have alot more photos since those now on my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/michaeljscott
Truly superb and impressive!
You seem to master the whole process of photo-making from A to Z.
My only (constructive) criticism would be that your website currently seems (to me) a bit "plain" relative to the amazing quality of your work (also, for some reason, the pictures look better on my screen when seen on flickr, perhaps you should give your visitors the opportunity to look at the pictures on flickr?).
Do you manage to make a living out of it? I think you should.
Keep going!
Just a thought: do you have an account on DeviantArt? It looks like a great place for someone with your talent to reach people. I think there is a system whereby pictures can gain popularity, and in any case it means many people in the field or interested in the field get to see your pictures.
I am sure that there are other websites (like Photodom, etc.) which would be great places to showcase your work among your peers (not that we're unhappy to see it here, keep posting
), because I guess that's where recognition and contracts might eventually come from. (Flickr is a great place as a general repository-cum-shop-window, I guess, but you may want to add more specific venues.)
I actually know of people who have shut down their websites (though I would not advise that) to present their work exclusively on their DeviantArt page (and possibly other websites).
Also (if it matters to you that people look at your work, which it might), did you submit your website to directories listing art photography websites? (I don't think they come after you so you basically have to do the work.) An example: http://www.photographysites.com
Thanks everyone!!!
I've been doing some updates and made another tutorial!
Check it out: http://www.scottphotographics.com/tutorials.html

Any constructive advice welcome

Thanks zbale!
I've been working at advertising my site and slowly climbing up on google
I do have a DeviantArt page but haven't explored it fully
Thanks

Good, keep us posted and do not hesitate to share your advice/experience, other photographers in the making might be interested (I guess that's what the forum is all about).
By the way, the tutorials are a great idea.
A question I wanted to ask you:
How did you get to Sony (I thought the basic choice for DSLR was Canon vs. Nikon). Was it recommended to you?
