I started to think about this when I was ask to code a blog system. Quickly, I turned to my new system which had all of the features a blog could have (but less ?).
Still, blog systems and new systems work about the same, I think so.
What is your opinion?
I think the problem is your description of "new system". I don't know what that is. Do you mean a CMS like Drupal or Joomla?
Frankly speaking I don't think it matter what you use. Blogging software is pretty mature and easy to use when you use a dedicated program like Wordpress or a CMS and the result is much the same. If I just wanted to blog I'd use Wordpress. If I wanted to make use of additional features of a CMS I'd use one.
If wanted to develop blog software I'd first consider joining the community for an established open source blog project.

News System as in Cute News. But yeah, Joomla is more of a Content Management System.

blogs and cutenews have a LOT of difference. cutenews is more like very customizable while blogs will give you jst 1-2 layouts.
you can have cutenews layout in any format you want.
Cutenews is horrible, blogs are horrible. Code your own for what you need. By the way, you spelt my name wrong.
