Here is an eye-popper: scientists have uncovered the fossilized remains of a 60 foot snake (maybe some neandrathal amateur herpitologist released his pet boa into the sewer system? Smile

This find also has implications concerning global warming: apparently the snake thrived in a much warmer climate than we currently are experiencing indicating that the bioshere is more resilient to temperature change than many believe.
