don't get me wrong: i'm not the sort of person who buys or even downloads crazy frog albums, but i got this particular track - 1001 nights - by crazy frog, from a friend's music library. i love the song, but hate the crazy frog remix.
does anyone know what the original song is called, and who it is by?

I can't pin the song down, but 1001 nights seems to refer to a collection of folk tales known as the Arabian Nights. It is likely that the remixed song came from a production of Sinbad, Alladin, or possibly Scheherazade Op. 35 Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
