CTR CPM What do they all mean?!

I know what eCPM is, but how does it affect your website, is it good to have a high or low eCPM.

Same for CTR, what does it mean and what percentage should it be?

CTR is basically the % of people that visit a page and then click a link. On my site it's usually somewhere around 1.1% for ads, and 10% for search, although I have fairly unobtrusive ads.
