Yol, how to unzip file in Frihost server?
Upon entering to file manager I find no option to unzip my file. How to do that?
Regards,
Shrykull
I don't think you can for the .zip file.
There should be a way for .tar.gz files though if that's what you mean.
You can not unzip files on Frihost Server . You could upload your files on Frihost Contral Center or by FTP software .
Bye the way , you should ask suck questions at Frihost Forum Index -> Support and Web Hosting -> Web Hosting Support .
Cant you just use a program such as WinRar or something. Or if its a backup, on you admin menu, you should have an option to install the back up straight from your file.
yol,
I can use RAR, but why?
Is there easier way, cause I m not the best in PHP scripts?
I have already upload files one by one, but as you know if you have over 1500 files it takes time.

By the way,
could someone supply me with direct link to Web Hosting Support ?
I never thought such are hard problems....
You know,
there are icons and texts on the upload page.
You upload a zip file, then unzip it, then it is ok.
Try hard to have a look around...
I guess he means unzipping or raring using web interface.
No, thats not possible but you can achieve desired operation, as oculahon said, using .tar.gz
Google 7-zip software, its freeware & can make .tar.gz compressed file. Upload this file from file manager or ftp and you will get 'expand' link in file manager against that filename.
I have never came accross any feature like that, I dont thhink it can be done, though if it was there it could have been very much useful!

Don't use DirectAdmin to upload multiple files. Try using the FTP instead.
er.......you could have changed the topic to 'how to unzip file', considering its in the 'General Chat' section

As long as Bondings has Directadmin set up right (cPanel can innately do it), you can unzip things. That'd be like making an advanced operating system and then leaving out USB functionality.

Yes, use FTP, it is way easier to upload multiple files.
i dont think you can unzip files form the file manager. I've been trying to find out how to do that for ages but it doesn't seem to work.
