Need some help.

I dont know what its exactly called but ill explain it.

I want a thing which when i click a link, the writing from that link like: aboutus.html, goes into the main box on the website. Ill draw a quick paint picutre Smile (http://i44.tinypic.com/dtv8o.png)

I had something like this before but my website got deleted due to being inactive.

Hope someone can help

If I understand correctly what you mean.

The easiest thing to do is to use frames, but frames are lame so with PHP you would write your code so that when somebody clicks that link the content in aboutus.html gets displayed on that side of your page.

Those are just simple solutions.

Yes but, im not experienced with PHP much at all, so it isnt so simple to do. How would i do that?

use frames, they don't need php. Frames aren't the best way to do this, but they are the easiest if you know only html.

do it with TABLES.... don't use frames... they are not worth the hassle they will cause to your site... specially if it gets spidered by GOOLGE... you will get the targeted frame into the results... but people will not have the MENU to browse your site!!

another way to do it is by using some CMS to manage your site

This can be done using PHP, AJAX or iframes. Because you don't know PHP, that means you probably don't know AJAX either so your best shot is iframes.

I don't recommend iframes from a search engine point of view though. But if you have got to use it and SEO is not of concern, then that's the method you'll need to employ.

All upper sugestion is talk about including full html in your page. But looking in your image you don't need to include full html page. If you want to change just one part of your page content then try to find some good solution here:
