Akon is awful!! Horrible horrible horrible!
"Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)" is good! It's one of the few songs of its genre that I like. However, I'd like to say that the main artist for this track is Wyclef Jean. Akon only appears as a featured artist along with Lil Wayne and Niia (the title of this thread could be misleading).
Akon always sings melodious songs some of which have catchy tunes.
Don't forget that he has sung hits like Belly Dancer and I Wanna Love You.
So I don't think that one could call him "horrible".
Anyway, he does make a bunch of tie-ups (like with Eminem, Snoop Dog, T-Pain, etc.)
Sweetest Girl is a good song ... but I'm more into Heavy Metal and Rock so I wouldn't listen to it regularly. It's good to hear at parties or get-togethers where I relax with my friends.
