My computer has infected by a very wonderful virus. It nither deletes any file nor makes the computer slow. But as soon as i start my computer, a message box appears saying an error has occured and the computer will restart in 1 hours. I can't use my computer contineously for more than 1 hour. Please help!
Amazing Virus! Please Help
when the message comes just go to command prompt and just type shutdown -a This will abort the shutdown but I don't know the solution for complete removal of this Virus.
Firstly, get some Antivirus software.
Secondly, if metalfreek's advice doesn't work then type "msconfig" from the run prompt.
If you look under the "startup" tab you will probably be able to find whatever is doing it and disable it. Post the list here if you're not sure which might be it.
Thirdly, it is possible that this is an actual windows error. Doesn't seem very likely because usually they have a timeout of a minute, not an hour!

Just download Ccleaner and Clean up your registry files .
it might just work..
then download any better Av than b4.

If those don't work, just pop in your windows install disc and do a simple reinstall, leaving the current file system intact... it will only reinstall your operating system.. your programs and files will be preserved. This will take about an hour and usually fixes any problems!
good luck, let us know on your 'wonderful virus' progress

Apparently it seem to be a driver issue. Have you recently updated to Vista SP1?. Microsoft has warned that there are some incompatibilities.

There is no way that cause by driver. If driver issue A BSOD might pop up. It obviously cause by virus. Do a full scan with AV.
