I'd have to say, this was a VERY boring subject! And I expect Macro to be just as bad! cheers!
Microeconomics
I love micro!
micro >> macro
maybe it's just my views from an exam point of view, because micro is just bullet point bullet point bullet point, whereas macro is "I think that this MAY be the cause, but only on tuesdays"....

What bogger said! If you didn't enjoy yourself in micro, you're gonna hate macro. As I remember it, macro's concepts were a lot more challenging, but then again it could've been the professor. Don't worry though, you're gonna be taking a lot more of both in upper division =] Enjoy!
gnihihi, god, I love banking ^.^
"basically, this money doesn't exist, but it does cos we pretend it does"

Whats the difference between micro and macro anyway? As you can tell, I'm no economist.
heh
microeconomics is the study of the person, the smallest things, showing how the simple stuff works,
like supply and demand meeting parity.
macro is the larger stuff, like national stuff, socialism vs capitalism and banking.
Micro is much more theoretical. whereas macro is actually useful in a sense.
Still, micro is much more interesting, as it does define things in very definite terms given certain assumptions. Not like macro, which is just babble til your time runs out

Micro and macro were great classes! I passed both classes, but I should have done better in macro; classes always got in the way of the college experience
But seriously, I guess I can see why some don't like economics. However, the more you know about econ. the better you will be with money and you will be less likely to fall for the "miracle plan" offered by unscrupulous business people or politicians.
Good luck in school and take as many econ. classes as you can as they have been some of my most practical lessons.

I like both micro and macro economy but I prefer the second one. Micro is more dificult in my opinion
