Htaccess file in Filezilla

Htaccess file in Filezilla is hidden by default, does anyone know how to make it visible ?

isn't that something that needs to be done on the SERVER SIDE?
I as because I have a few sites where the .htaccess files show up and on some it doesn't... since I am using the same FTP software, I thought it was about the server's settings...

if your server is windows then it will need to be done at server side.

in unix, file start with dot mean it's hidden, just like you set hidden for file properties in windows.
