Man, I think I am a notepad junkie. I have a lot of text editors in my computer. I started out testing software, but then I ended up buying online. Yesterday, I looked at the content of my old computer and found out that I had filled it up with a lot of applications for note-taking and editing. Would you consider this a hobby: collecting notepad and wordpad replacements? I have also have installed differend kinds of programming editors: html, css, php... And they just sit in my computer!
A hobby is basically defined as anything you enjoy doing that does not make a profit. So yeah, call it a hobby if you like!
well there are some hobbies that are profitable too. like stamp collection, gardening, etc.
I am sure it can be called a hobby, or developing a new field of interest. It certainly is most interesting, and could end up being very lucrative? I sometimes do that as well, but loose interest quickly. When I changed from one computer to another most recently, and had to cull a lot of files, I also found that my sub-directory with downloads was the bulkiest. But it stopped right there at the testing phase. Seems as though the Notepad has taken things a few steps further. Good stuff!
I use M8 Multi-Clipboard frequently. It's more of a tendency then a hobby.
It counts, bro. I guess you reallly wanna find the best one out of it although the path seems endless.
I would consider it a hobby. If you enjoy doing it, and do it all the time, why not?
it is an obsession..you have something to show off..go ahead and start using them..that will make ya feel better.
I would consider it a hobby but the real answer to that ? is Do you consider it hobby?
Well, if you enjoy it. Who are we or I to judge that it wouldn't count as a hobby. There are alot of weird, but fun, hobbies out there.
i think it does count as a hobby. but do you have any thoughts on taking that further? like developing your own notepad replacement? i mean, you must've seen pros and cons of a large number of such programs, and if you can come up with a new program taking the good points and leaving the bad ones from what you've seen, it just may prove to be a lucrative hobby after all.
Of course it's a hobby. But is it a GOOD hobby?
A good hobby is one you can talk about. Like, what are the best points about the best notebook replacements? Is there one you really use the most? and why?
A real problem with such a specialist hobby is finding other enthusiasts who you can share it with.
I'm not one.
But I AM interested in your opinion on what is the best.
It certainly sounds like a hobby. People collect a lot of different stuff... in your case it seems to be text editors.
thats an.. interesting hobby
yes it's a hobby ended...
