Why it is recession what is recession. There is no end of food crops in the world neither there is an end to cattles. There is plenty of drinking water as well as water for industries and other uses. Supplies of oil, gas, cloal and metals are as great as always. There is no shortage of electricity and there is a little more population with much more resources. All industries are there. Transport means are intact. Technically, world is physically very healthy.

Then, why is recession? What is recession?

Just think about it, it is a bad game where a few players have won every thing leaving all the world thinking that they are lost.

Perhaps this discussion should be continued in the Economy and Marketing Forum? Covered by quite a number of threads already.

What's with it? Collective amnesia that unregulated free markets predictably go bust. This time the US has 2 wars going on at the same time as the bust and that has wasted so many resources that could have been used to prop up the economy. Yes, looks bad.
