Just to verify that Spurn Point is the most remote place probably England has to offer, I went there again on the scooter today....this time with my pal Scooterstu.
We went hoping to see a bit of snow, and weren't disappointed....once past the Humber Bridge we saw loads of it, and the riding once past Hull & out onto the twisty country back-roads was quite tricky in places.
We both had one or two "moments" hitting patches of slush on the roads, but unlike last time I went I didn't fall off out on the 4 miles long spit of land, so you might say I'm getting better at this scooter riding lark!
160 miles done in the afternoon, and a great day out.
Humber Bridge
In snowy Patrington
The gatepost...only a very careful 4 miles now to the point
The North Sea was crashing in a bit
