Which free domain name is the most search engine friendly?
First Place - co.cc: Co.cc is built for search engine optimization. They should make their services paid it's so good. You see- when you register a name there, they give you 3 options, set up using Nameservers, Records or Redirects. Redirects include META Tag Support through meta tags, keywords, and title. I did a nameserver one, within 2 days, without submitting the site itself, GoogleBot came. Then Yahoo! Then Archive.org, and finally Alexa. That's a miracle. Only problem- you can only register 2 names, then you have to donate 10 USD.
Second Place - uni.cc: While I found that uni.cc isn't as good with META as co.cc is, it has a unique Website Builder, included free. That's an automatic giveaway- you guessed it- uni.cc is also very SEO Optimized. Pretty good, though it was down for 2008
We await you guys in 2009!
Last Place - .tk: Yah, it's a one-part domain name. And it allows unlimited domains. But you know why? Because there is absolutely NO CHANCE of your .tk ever going on Google, or any search engine perhaps. They are just horrible. No search engine or META Support whatsoever. All they have is TiKiNet. But that's all. They've really got to improve this one!
So there you have it, hopefully, for all you friHost newbies, it will come in handy when you are requesting a webhosting account with FriHost and you want to park some domains.[/list]
