No CPanel

Help

I'm totally confused. I could at one time access CPanel but no longer can.

I'm on server 3 and my "Account" says: "DirectAdmin".

- Does this mean I can't use CPanel?
- Is there a preferred way to access CPanel?
- When I try to use CPanel, it wouldn't take my user name & password.
- When I tried to reset my password, I never got an email.
- Which email should the 'reset code be sent to? There are two email addresses for me on FriHost.
- No email appears on one email address and I can't get to the other one.
- Must I install CPanel? It was there by default when I registered.

Any help is appreciated.

There are three servers currently located at Frihost. Server one, the first server, has cPanel installed. Server two WILL have DirectAdmin installed once it is fixed and server three also has directadmin.

To your questions:

1. You are unable to use cPanel, but you are free to use DirectAdmin which is pretty much the same.
2. Nope.
3. You don't have an account, so no it wouldn't accept it.
4. You wouldn't cause you don't have an account.

Basically, you have to use DirectAdmin. It's really simple, and if you need help just click "Help" or post here! I hope this helps.

Can anyone tell me if I can use directAdmin to install eCommerce software such as ZenCart?

Yes you will be able to, but you will have to set it up manually. Unfortunately, there is no Fantastico for Directadmin, so you need to add it manually. Check the ZenCart website for a setup guide, or Google.
