DOS driver for SATA CD

shenyl
I have configure a CD ROM to boot DOS 7.1 with many useful utilities.

But recently, I am encountering many systems with SATA CD, and the IDE CD driver will not work on these system, causing me to boot up only with a A: (Simulated by the CD).

My normal C: drive of the CD could not be accessed, literally disabling all those useful utilities I needed.

Could anyone help to direct me to a source for a generic SATA CD driver?

Help very much appreciated.

Thanks.

not all SATA are supported. you need to check who made your SATA chip and download from them.

Badai thanks for the good reference site.

I have downloaded the ODD DOS driver, and also the documentation (screen dump) of the site.

I will be testing them next week.

Thanks for your info and help. Much appreciated.

Will follow-up on my testing, but will take sometime, as I need to recreate the DOS diskette and then the CD-ROM for booting.
