renaming domains...

hey all .. as alot of you out there i suppose, i have a few registered domains that i dont really need or use.

are there any registrars or methods or whatever that'll allow you to 'trade-in' a domain name or cancel & renew a lease under a new name or even simply rename the domain attached to a particular lease (releasing the old domain name automatically) .. ?

I think you should contact your registrar about this. Each one has its own rules and services.

I don't think there is such a thing as re naming. You can try to sell those names you dont want for cheap prices or if it doesn't work then simply letting them to be deleted. If you registered a name as Godaddy.com, there you can cancel the name within five days of registration.

I'm pretty sure it does include a refund. Other wise it would be worthless to have that 5 day grace period.
