ipod to my computer transfer

i dont know if im asking the right question.....
i dont know if this is allowed....

how can i transfer my i-pod music to my computer??
like using it as an external drive.............
because everytime i plug my i-pod it autosync my itunes music to my ipod

1. Enable disk-use mode
2. Manually manage music
3. Use sharepod/yamipod/senuti to copy music.
4. Use itunes to organize that ripped music.

iPod has the messy way of storing mp3 files inside randomly named folders, hence you will need to arrange it by the mp3 files' ID3 tags...
